COOKIES & DEVICE STORAGE · VERSION 2026-10-23
What your browser remembers.
The standard public BM website does not currently use advertising pixels, third-party analytics, session-replay tools or externally embedded video players. Fonts, screenshots and videos are served with the site. We therefore do not show an “accept advertising cookies” banner for tracking that is not present.
Essential account cookies
The Hub uses BM authentication cookies to maintain sign-in, verification and security. Office sessions normally last up to seven days. The separate Driver App uses a secure, HTTP-only, same-site session cookie. Driver sessions last up to 12 hours and can be revoked by the company owner. Short-lived authentication and multi-factor cookies may be used during sign-in. Blocking these cookies prevents normal sign-in.
Local device storage
- Theme, Simple/Advanced layout and selected-workspace preferences help remember your choices.
- The Driver App can remember company ID and sign-in name when “Remember company and name” is selected. It does not save the PIN there.
- Unsent delivery, notebook and photo drafts may be saved in browser storage so you can recover work. These can contain business or personal information and are not encrypted by BM in that browser storage.
Local storage has no automatic browser expiry. Saved drafts are cleared by their workflow when saved or discarded; remaining site data can be removed through browser settings. Clearing it can lose unsent work. Sign out and clear site data before disposing of or sharing a device.
The website’s signed-in indicator
The public website asks the Hub whether this browser is signed in, so it can show “Open workspace” instead of “Customer login”. This uses your existing session; it does not expose your company records to the public page. The check repeats while the page is open.
External services
Opening Stripe checkout, Xero authorisation, maps or another external link brings you to that provider, which may use its own cookies and technical data under its policy. Infrastructure security services may process request information to protect and deliver BM. See our provider register. If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice and implement any required consent controls before enabling it.
